Mowed lawn today. Started out nice and early to beat the heat but the darn mower wouldn't start even after I took the carburetor off and blew it out with canned air.
Went to Lowe's and got a gasket/diaphragm kit for the Briggs & Stratton pulse jet and replaced the old ones, lucky, also got some special clean mower fuel there in a quart can. It cost too much but when the mower still wouldn't start with the new diaphragm I dumped out the old (horrible) fuel and filled the tank with the special mower fuel and -bingo- the thing started running better than ever.
Also ripped some ivy off of the front of the house that was getting under the shingles. Shouldn't have let it get so bad.
The picture is special today. Took it with a thrift store Sony Mavica. It is two photos pasted together with mtPaint. Usually would use the Gimp but I'm kinda stuck on Puppy Linux for the last half of a year or so.
