32° and totally clear sky. It is 7:15 in the morning and the it is
getting light on the horizon already. The sun is returning to us. I
have to go warm up the car because it is covered in frost. And coffee.

It didn't rain today. Again.
Sam II worked tonight. New cook worked tonight. We served dinner about fifteen minutes late, oh well.
Venus very bright in the sky tonight. No clouds to obscure the heavens...

I just made a burger for Antony's bfast. I had a candy bar in my hand a minute ago that I was going to have but now I can't find it. Ain't that the way.
Not bad at all outside. 39° and not raining. Still pitch black out, but I think the days are lengthening...

Watching Boston Legal on Channel 33.1. I have the rabbit ears positioned just right to get Channel 33.1.
It has been raining pretty good today. The local TV news has been reporting flooding in areas of Western Washington.

Interesting
The famous writer, Joseph Heller, writer of the famous book, Catch 22, also wrote an episode of McHale's Navy called "PT 73, Where Are You." Told by an interviewer that he had never produced anything else as good as Catch-22, Heller famously responded, "Who has?

My shift ended at 7 PM. I stayed in the break room until midnight. Looking outside I decided that the snow had turned to drizzle and I could see a lot of standing water and slush in the parking lot so I decided to head home. Public parking had about 2 inches of wet snow, Front St, however was bare and wet, so off I went towards B-town. Had no trouble. Up towards the top of Finn hill there were places where it was compact snow on the road.---The freeway was mostly bare on one lane. A couple of 4WD pickups had to brave the slushy fast lane to get by me, as I was chugging along at 30 MPH. After Sliverdale both lanes were mostly bare and wet.
At B-town, Kitsap Way was OK. I noticed a lot of side streets that were quite a mess. I went all the way to Callow on Kitsap Way and then up Callow and up to my house... Parked in the front, didn't want to chance getting stuck in the alley. The trip took me an hour. I drove real slow even though the roads were mostly bare. I got up to 35 a couple of times. Had one guy tailgate me for a while until he figured out a way to get past me. Well, not too bad and it wasn't snowing during the drive. Probably just as well I waited till midnight.
