  • My big thing I was going to do today was my 2008 tax return. Around midnight last night I googled e-file to find out how to do that. I went to what I thought was the best e-file site and just started filling out the forms. It was easy as pie. I didn't rush through it but the whole thing took me less than 90 minutes. That is, the time from Google search for e-file sites to clicking on the submit return button. I even had to go out to the car to fetch my W-2 form.

I couldn't e-file before this year because I had to mail certain child support documents along with the return in order to get a full tax refund. Now that the kids are 18+ and assuming I don't father any more children, I won't have to deal with that any more.

It got up to 52° here in Bremerton. B-A-U-tiful.

  • Shouldn't there be an "e" in the capitalized part of beautiful? Congratulations for getting your income tax done. We're soon off to the Johnson's to celebrate the inaugural by watching (along with an impressive cast of happy B.I. democrats) the highlights of the day.

  • The 'B' letter already contains the eee sound rendering the addition of a capital 'E' superfluous.

  • Then what's the A doing there?
